Honest capsule reviews for India: price, ingredients, side effects, original vs fake

We read the label so you don’t have to — every review lists what is really inside, who should not take it and what the research says, without miracle promises.

Same name — different product

Many supplements share their name with prescription medicines or other brands. Before you buy, check which one you are looking at.

How to spot a fake or a wrong product

  • Seal and hologram. Bottles should be sealed under the cap; many boxes carry a hologram or seal sticker.
  • Printed details. MRP, batch number, manufacturing and expiry dates must be printed on the pack.
  • FSSAI licence number. Supplements sold in India must show it on the label — check before you pay.
  • Ingredient list. Compare it with the review. A different list means a different product.
  • Payment. Prefer cash on delivery and never transfer money in advance to an unknown seller.

Questions readers ask

Are these products medicines?

No. They are food supplements (nutraceuticals) and are not for medicinal use. They do not replace treatment prescribed by a doctor.

Why is the price lower than the MRP on the pack?

MRP is the maximum retail price the maker must print. Sellers often sell below it; the operator confirms the final price on the call.

How does cash on delivery work?

When the seller offers it, you pay the courier when the parcel arrives. Payment options are confirmed by the seller on the call.

Who calls me after I order?

A consultant from the seller, to confirm the product, the number of packs and your address. HerbReview does not sell or ship products.

Are these products sold in medical stores or on Amazon?

The offers we review are sold through the seller’s order line. Marketplace listings with similar names may be different products — compare the pack.

Can I take a supplement with my medicines?

Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. Some ingredients interact with blood thinners, diabetes, blood-pressure and other medicines — each review lists them.

How we review

We check the label and the composition, the price on the offer, look-alike products and published research on each ingredient. We do not test products on people, invent reviews or quote doctors who do not exist. HerbReview earns a commission when you order through a form on this site — that never changes what we write about safety.
